I work every Sunday night from 7:00 to 11:00, which means I don't get home until after everyone else is in bed. Sometimes, Daniel leaves notes for me on the whiteboard we use for chore assignments and grocery lists.
This one -- left about 2 years ago -- made my mom/reader/teacher/librarian heart so happy! Daniel was only nine at the time.
(And yes, he read both Beowulf and The Odyssey, although they were in prose and slightly more age appropriate than the full versions would be.)
